Meet Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes is an independent digital photo retoucher and color management specialist. He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Collage of Graphic Arts & Photography, School of Professional Printing, and holds a Bachelors Degree in printing science.  It was there that he developed a strong love for color reproduction, color science and statistical process control. He has over four decades experience in Pre Press as a process color cameraman, scanner operator, and proofer, and 25 years experience in Adobe Photoshop, doing photo retouching, color correction, image manipulation and photo restoration. He has worked for large commercial printers, independent pre press houses, and magazine publishers.
